Golf Art

My golf art was born out of my love of the game of golf.
My passion extended to the history of the game, of golf clubs, and of the lore of golf.

I started making hand-lettered reclaimed wood “golf plaques” using vintage golf clubs on a whim and they became wildly popular. So much so that I couldn’t keep up with demand.

In the twenty-teens I made 1000’s of these by hand and shipped them all over the US and beyond. People bought them as gifts for birthdays, Father’s Day, anniversaries, Christmas, retirement, etc.

I handled thousands of vintage golf clubs sourced from thrift stores, metal yards, garage sales, and private collections. Some pieces I made were mandalas using golf tees and antique leather gripped golf shafts.

It was great fun, but I could not keep up with demand, or find a way to scale it and keep the quality intact, so I shut it down

It was a fun ride. I still have dozens of collectible clubs and putters in my shop.
