A fun art party and studio tour at my country place with an amazing collection of guest artists with a focus on creative reuse and unique vision. #eflandfringefest

Just a fun day in the country!

Held on Mark’s 3 acre country property, 10 minutes from downtown Hillsborough. This is a magical wooded property with a creek, tiny houses, Mark’s workshop, lumber shed, metal yard, and lots of cool art and artifacts.

~Orcalligraphy– Art and cards hand-penned by Naja Smart, Durham, NC.

~11 am – 1pm: Songwriters in the round featuring Hillsborough songwriters Chris Loch, Bill Whitmore, and Brian Hershberger
~1 pm: Kiah Wells– guitar, mandolin, songwriter @kiahwells also plays with Mr Darcy.
~2 pm: Bob Vasile (formerly of the Pratie Heads) guitar, bouzouki, singer-songwriter, Celtic music.
~3 pm: Bob Funck, solo. Durham singer-songwriter and guitarist.

Admission?
Free to get in!

Parking?
Park along the country road and walk in via path marked ENTER.

Rain Date?

Sunday, 11/3 from 12 noon to 5 pm.

How far?
25 min from Durham and Chapel Hill, Burlington
50 min from Raleigh and Pittsboro
40 min from Greensboro
10 min from downtown Hillsborough

Kid friendly?
Yes! With the proviso that there’s a workshop with lumber, metal, nails and screws and common sense and maybe supervision are necessary.

Bathroom?
There is a unisex bathroom on site.

WiFi?
Yep, we have WiFi available! Cell service can be spotty because we’re in the woods.

Food?
Food for sale made by Mark’s mom and brother (he’s a pro cook who likes to make comfort-y food. She’s a mom who’s just a great cook!)

Special needs?
Honk at gate, we’ll open up and help you in if you’re in a wheelchair or require minimal or assisted walking

Dogs?
We have a couple of friendly resident dogs.
If your dog is well behaved and gets along well with other dogs and people, sure, bring them. If you’re not sure, maybe leave them home.
The artist area will be fairly close quarters with a bunch of people around.
And of course, please pick up after your dog unless they do their business deep in the woods.

Alcohol?
None sold on site, but you can byob.
