Mark Cool- North Carolina singer-songwriter plays his first UK tour in February

Mark Cool's recent cd "Introducing Mark Cool and the Folk Stars" was chosen by the writers of Americana UK magazine as one of the top 20 cds of 2007. Also on this list are Wilco, Crowded House, Peter Case, and other talented artists. On the heels of this acclaim (" a rootsy, country, bluesy exposition of the highest order..." says Paul Villers of AUK), The Durham, North Carolina artist embarks on his first UK mini-tour at the end of February. Dates are scheduled in Edinburgh to start things off, updated tour info can be found on Cool's myspace page (myspace.com/markcool1). The songwriter intends to get his feet wet in the UK in february, and to return for a longer engagement in the fall of this year.
