driving with one contact lens:
to elaborate on the highland gig story, after the show was over (they shut the bar down promptly at midnight), we decided to sleep there at the inn for a couple of hours. (i was probably a little bit beyond the legal limit to drive anyway.) we had a 7 am flight in edinburgh, 3-4 hours away, so it was sleeping literally, a couple of hours. more...

people ask me this pretty much daily, and the answer is "yes." there's a deeper story, but i'll be damned if i'm going to explain it to everyone who asks, more...

new songs -i've got a few new tunes that i'll be playing at upcoming shows. planning has begun for the next cd as well.
 

check this out/recommended:
 
reservation nation- a novel by david fuller cook. great storytelling, makes me remember why i love reading, leaves me wanting more. the characters are authentic and engaging.
 
hoop path- zen hula hooping with baxter. i've bumped into baxter at odd places lately; a poetry reading, carrburritos. he's got a glow about him, a peace, so i checked him out on you tube. cool stuff.
